NewsJarell Quansah named in England U20s World Cup squad
Jarell Quansah has been named in England's squad for the upcoming U20 World Cup.
The Liverpool centre-back is part of the Young Lions’ 21-player group for the tournament in Argentina and is aiming to add to the U19 European Championship winner’s medal he claimed last summer.
Quansah has progressed through the ranks at the Academy and has captained the Reds’ U18, U19 and U21 teams. He joined Bristol Rovers on loan in January of this year and made 16 appearances in League One.
England U20s begin their World Cup campaign against Tunisia on May 22 and will also face Uruguay and Iraq in the group stage.
