Lewis Koumas, forward - Liverpool FC

Talented attacker Lewis Koumas arrived at the Liverpool FC Academy from Tranmere Rovers as an U11 player.

Koumas, who can play in midfield as well as out wide and as a forward, made his U18s debut as an U16 player in 2021-22.

Lewis, the son of former Wales international Jason Koumas, signed his first professional contract with the Reds in January 2023.

He netted 16 goals during 2022-23, made his U21s debut and featured for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League.

In 2023-24, Koumas enjoyed an unforgettable senior debut by scoring at Anfield against Southampton in an Emirates FA Cup fifth-round tie.

Three days earlier, he had picked up his first winner's medal as an unused substitute during the Carabao Cup final victory over Chelsea at Wembley.

Koumas netted 17 goals across all levels during 2023-24 and earned a first call-up to the Wales national team.

After featuring for Arne Slot's side in pre-season ahead of 2024-25, Koumas signed a new contract with Liverpool and completed a season-long loan move to Stoke City in the Championship.
