NewsWho was Player of the Match against Brighton?
Luis Diaz was voted Liverpool's Player of the Match in Saturday's 2-0 Premier League win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Colombian winger bagged the opening goal against the Seagulls thanks to a brave header, having connected with the ball first before onrushing goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
Diaz performed impressively throughout the lunchtime kick-off against Graham Potter’s side, with Mohamed Salah scoring the second goal from the penalty spot to secure all three points on the south coast.
The Reds’ No.23 was the fans’ choice for Player of the Match following the final whistle in our official Twitter poll.
