NewsNew record league attendance at Anfield set
Anfield hosted its largest ever crowd for a league fixture when Liverpool beat Brentford 2-0 on Sunday.
There were 60,107 spectators inside the stadium to watch Arne Slot register his first Premier League home victory as Reds head coach.
That attendance figure beats the club's previous best of 60,090 from April for the meeting with Crystal Palace.
Following the redevelopment of the Anfield Road Stand, the stadium's overall capacity has been updated to 61,276 for the 2024-25 campaign.
