AcademyMax Woltman signs new contract with Liverpool FC
Max Woltman has signed a new contract with Liverpool FC.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a fine season with Barry Lewtas’ U23s, while also impressing in the U19 UEFA Youth League team that reached the quarter-finals, as he finished 2021-22 with nine goals.
The forward made a dream first-team debut off the bench at San Siro against AC Milan in the Champions League back in December, before starting at Anfield the following month in the Emirates FA Cup third-round tie with Shrewsbury Town.
A versatile player who can appear anywhere across the front line, Wirral-born Woltman has been at the Academy since the age of seven.
He signed his first professional contract with the club in January 2021.
