NewsLFC Women injury update: Sophie Roman Haug available for Merseyside derby
Sophie Roman Haug is expected to be available for Sunday's Merseyside derby at Anfield, Liverpool FC Women manager Matt Beard confirmed.
The striker, who arrived from AS Roma Women last month, has been sidelined with a broken nose that she sustained while on international duty with Norway.
The No.10 has since returned to full training and will wear a protective mask if she makes her competitive debut for the club against Everton Women.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, Beard said: "Apart from [Niamh] Fahey, Leanne [Kiernan] and Shanice [van de Sanden], we've got a fully fit squad to choose from, which is great for me.
"She [Roman Haug] will be playing with a mask. She's been back in full training this week. We're really looking forward to having her in the squad."
