Dates of the Reds' 38 league matches for the upcoming season will be available at Liverpoolfc.com, though they will be subject to change for television broadcast and European competition purposes.

The 2024-25 Premier League campaign will get under way on Saturday August 17 and the final round of fixtures is scheduled to be played simultaneously on Sunday May 25.

In order to allow the mid-August start date, the mid-season break has been removed from the calendar.

The league also announced no club will play within 60 hours of another match over the festive period and that there will be no Christmas Eve fixture.

The transfer window is now open and will close at 11pm BST on Friday August 30. It reopens on Wednesday January 1 before shutting again on Monday February 3.

Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton are the new entrants to the division as they replace Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton Town.

Leicester and Southampton returned to the Premier League from the Championship at their first attempt, while Ipswich will play top-flight football for the first time since 2001-02.
