Thiago Alcantara has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for April.
The Liverpool midfielder was in outstanding form to help his team claim 13 points from their five fixtures and maintain their pursuit of Manchester City at the summit.
Thiago started four times and made one substitute appearance and his displays earned him a place on the shortlist for the top flight’s monthly accolade.
He is up against Nathan Collins (Burnley), Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle United), Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur) and Leandro Trossard (Brighton & Hove Albion).
