NewsTaylor Hinds wins LFC Women Player of the Month award for November
The Reds vice-captain collected the prize at the AXA Melwood Training Centre today, having featured in all four games last month and scored twice at Villa Park.
Hinds was on target with a double in the first half of that Barclays Women’s Super League clash with Aston Villa to set Matt Beard’s side on their way to a 2-1 result.
The No.12 started the subsequent defeats by Chelsea and Everton, before appearing as a substitute in the 6-1 Women’s League Cup success at Newcastle United.
She told Liverpoolfc.com upon receiving the award: “It’s an amazing feeling to be voted by the fans.
“On a personal level, I’ve been trying really hard to put in good performances and that has been helped by the teammates I have around me.
“It wasn’t the month we all wanted in terms of results but it was nice to contribute to the win over Aston Villa with the two goals. Hopefully we can come back after the break and start picking up more points.
“Everyone will get some time with their families now over Christmas. We’ll have important players coming back from injury in the New Year and we’ll be refreshed and ready to go.”
