Stefan Bajcetic made his return from injury with a 30-minute runout for Liverpool U21s on Friday night.
The midfielder, who has missed the majority of this season, came off the bench just before the hour mark as the young Reds beat Manchester United 3-0 in Premier League 2 at Old Trafford.
And the 19-year-old celebrated his first taste of match action since September with an assist, too, as he fed Kaide Gordon before the forward fired home Liverpool’s second goal of the evening.
Bajcetic was an unused substitute for Jürgen Klopp’s senior team in Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final first leg against Atalanta at Anfield.
