Sadio Mane registered an assist as Senegal beat Equatorial Guinea 3-1 to reach the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals.

Liverpool’s No.10 produced a perfectly weighted throughball for Famara Diedhiou to score the opening goal after 28 minutes of Sunday evening’s last-eight tie in Douala, Cameroon.

Equatorial Guinea equalised in the early stages of the second half, but strikes by Cheikhou Kouyate and Ismaila Sarr booked Senegal’s spot in the last four, where they will face Burkina Faso on Wednesday.
