A goal and an assist from Mohamed Salah inspired Egypt to come from behind to defeat Morocco 2-1 in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Egypt trailed to Sofiane Boufal’s early penalty, but Liverpool forward Salah equalised soon after half-time with a poacher’s finish from close range.

And, 10 minutes into extra-time, the Pharaohs captain went on a driving run down the right before crossing for Trezeguet to slot in the winner.

Egypt will now face hosts Cameroon in the last four on Thursday.
