MatchRangers v Liverpool: Champions League team news
The manager must replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz and Joel Matip from the starting XI against Arsenal on Sunday after all three sustained injuries in London.
Robertson, however, is back in contention for the first time in a month as the Reds seek a third victory in Champions League Group A against the team they beat 2-0 at Anfield last week.
Curtis Jones, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are not yet ready to return, though.
"That is not great, but it is the situation and we have to deal with it and we will," Klopp said of the setbacks for Alexander-Arnold, Diaz and Matip.
He added: "Robbo is in the squad; Curtis not, Ox not, Naby not. That's it. It's important the boys [are] coming back but it is not that you are back, train twice with the team and then here we go. It's not like this."

As they aim to produce an immediate response to the 3-2 defeat versus the Gunners, victory in Scotland would mean Klopp's men could qualify for the last 16 with a point at AFC Ajax on matchday five.
"This is a tough situation, but it's a challenge and we face always challenges and we go for it," said the boss.
"I'm sorry for our people, they expected after last season we go again, fly again and compete with everything. Now it's not the case. I cannot promise we will fly [tonight] but I can promise we will fight, definitely.
"Until somebody tells us the fight is over, that's all we can promise. Yes, it didn't become easier since Sunday because of the injuries but the team I saw [on Tuesday] in training I liked a lot. So, let's give it a go."
Meanwhile, Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst reported the condition of Glen Kamara will need to be assessed ahead of the 8pm BST kick-off.
Tom Lawrence, Ianis Hagi, John Souttar, Filip Helander and Nnamdi Ofoborh are set to remain unavailable for the Scottish Premiership side.
"The squad's looking good. We have no fresh injuries, no new injuries," Van Bronckhorst told journalists. "The only one who is a little doubt is Kamara but all the other ones are good to go."
