NewsNew Anfield capacity confirmed ahead of 2024-25
Anfield has an updated capacity of 61,276 ahead of the new 2024-25 campaign.
The redevelopment of the Anfield Road Stand took the stadium’s capacity beyond the 60,000 mark during the second half of last season.
A new club-record league attendance was subsequently set on several occasions, with the highest figure reached when 60,090 were present for April’s clash with Crystal Palace.
That milestone is set to rise in the forthcoming season after a new capacity total was confirmed.
Liverpool will make their first home appearance of 2024-25 this Sunday as they host back-to-back friendlies, facing Sevilla at 12.30pm BST in front of supporters and then Las Palmas at 5pm BST behind closed doors. Both matches will be streamed live on LFCTV GO.
Arne Slot’s Reds’ first home Premier League fixture of the season is a 4.30pm BST kick-off with Brentford on Sunday August 25.
Anfield’s all-time record attendance is 61,905 – this was set in 1952 when Wolverhampton Wanderers visited for an FA Cup tie.
