Pre-match stats'Means a lot' - Jürgen Klopp set to reach major Liverpool landmark
Jürgen Klopp will take charge of his 400th game as Liverpool manager with the visit of Napoli to Anfield on Tuesday night.
Klopp will become only the fourth Reds boss ever to reach the milestone, following Tom Watson, Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley, and has won 248 of those matches so far.
"[It means] a lot," he told Liverpoolfc.com. "Unfortunately, we lost No.397 and No.399 – that feels really bad, to be honest.
"But in general, and how we all know, that's obviously a number [that] I don't expect the next 20 managers of Liverpool will reach that as well because it's pretty special, I know that, what we achieved over the years.
"It just doesn't feel in the moment like that but it's no problem, the number is still impressive. I'm very grateful for that, that I was allowed to do that.
"But how you can imagine, I'm much more interested in the next 200, 300, I'm not sure, 400 and then we can talk – let me say it like this. But thank you very much, it's a big number and I'm kind of proud of it."

Klopp will also take charge of the 100th Champions League game of his career across his spells with the Reds and Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool and Napoli have met twice before at Anfield in this competition. In 2018, Mohamed Salah's goal gave the Reds a 1-0 victory and the following year Dejan Lovren netted in a 1-1 draw.
The teams have met on seven occasions in total, with the Reds winning twice, Napoli three times and two fixtures finishing level.
A victory would see Liverpool win all three home games in successive Champions League group stages for the first time.
The Reds have lost only one of their last 18 Champions League group games at Anfield, which came to Atalanta BC (0-2) in 2020.
Liverpool have won each of the two previous games they have played on November 1 in this competition. They defeated Anderlecht in 2005 and NK Maribor in 2017 – winning 3-0 at Anfield in both.
In all clashes with teams from Italy, the Reds have won 17, drawn four and lost 17 of the 38 matches.
Salah is one away from equalling Steven Gerrard's club record of 41 European goals for Liverpool.
The Egyptian has scored six times in his last six matches in all competitions and has eight goals in his last 10 games.
Virgil van Dijk could make his 200th Liverpool appearance in the tie, while Trent Alexander-Arnold can register his 50th European start for the Reds.
