Virgil van Dijk was voted Liverpool’s Carlsberg Player of the Match in Wednesday night’s 2-0 success away at Sheffield United.

The No.4 provided the opening goal for his side amid an impressive performance that also contributed to a clean sheet at Bramall Lane.

In our Match Centre poll after the final whistle, Van Dijk finished ahead of Wataru Endo and fellow goalscorer Dominik Szoboszlai to win Player of the Match.
