Liverpool will play an additional pre-season friendly against Las Palmas, which will be behind closed doors at Anfield on Sunday August 11.

The fixture with the La Liga side will follow the ticketed Anfield game against Sevilla earlier the same day, though will not be open to supporters.

Kick-off against Las Palmas will be 5pm BST and the match will be shown live on LFCTV GO.

The clubs have met on just one occasion previously; Liverpool travelled to Estadio Insular to contest a testimonial in May 1968, with Chris Lawler scoring in a 1-1 draw.

The successive friendlies on August 11 will be the final warm-ups for Arne Slot’s squad before their Premier League campaign begins at Ipswich Town on August 17.
