Media watchLiverpool given green light for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia swoop after £110m bid and transfer hint
Napoli forward Kvaratskhelia confirmed last week that he would make his mind up on his future after the Euros in Germany. At that point, Georgia had just beaten Portugal 2-0 - a game in which he scored - and were into the knockout phase of a major tournament for the first time in their history.
"I respect [new Napoli boss Antonio] Conte, he's one of the best managers," he said last Wednesday. "I respect also Napoli, I love Napoli. I will decide my future after the Euros. Now I'm focused on the game vs Spain."
With Georgia now out, Kvaratskhelia is expected to choose on whether he is staying at Napoli or moving on, giving Liverpool the green light to make a swoop for the talented winger this summer. The 23-year-old has been subject to interest from Paris Saint-Germain, too, who reportedly failed in a whopping £110million bid. But it was reported that he was not keen on a move to Parc des Princes and would rather try his luck in the Premier League instead.
