ClubLFC Retail: Championing sustainability through The Red Way
Liverpool FC is privileged to be one of the most celebrated clubs in the world. We recognise that with this great status comes great responsibility.
We have a responsibility to use our voice and take demonstrable action in critical areas such as climate change, equality, diversity and inclusion. The Red Way extends beyond the pitch and includes LFC Retail, which is making significant strides in sustainability.
LFC Retail is committed to aligning with The Red Way by incorporating eco-friendly practices and products. Here are some of its key initiatives:
- The Mighty Red plush toy is crafted from 100 per cent recycled materials, ensuring that even the youngest fans can support their team in an environmentally friendly way.
- LFC Retail offers toys made from sustainable plywood, highlighting its commitment to using eco-conscious materials.
- To cut down on single-use plastics, LFC Retail uses hangers that are 100 per cent sustainable, reusable and recyclable.
These initiatives demonstrate Liverpool FC's dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility, showcasing the club's commitment to making a positive impact beyond sport.
