AcademyLayton Stewart up for PL2 Player of the Month award
Layton Stewart has been shortlisted for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for March.
The Liverpool striker scored in each of the U21s’ PL2 fixtures during the month, netting three times as away wins over Arsenal (1-0) and Blackburn Rovers (3-2) sandwiched a 3-1 reverse at Chelsea.
Stewart is up against Tayo Adaramola (Crystal Palace), Luca Barrington (Brighton & Hove Albion), Kian Breckin (Manchester City), Mason Burstow (Chelsea), Sonny Perkins (Leeds United) and Jeremy Sivi (Middlesbrough) for the prize.
