Seven Liverpool FC Women players were involved in Friday’s round of international fixtures.

Six of those – Ceri Holland, Gemma Evans, Leanne Kiernan, Jenna Clark, Marie Höbinger and Sophie Roman Haug – played in the UEFA Nations League, while Teagan Micah started Australia’s 1-0 friendly win over South Korea.

Holland scored an equaliser for Wales in their home meeting with Denmark, although the visitors would go on to claim a 2-1 win. Evans also started the tie in Cardiff.

Kiernan, meanwhile, recorded an assist while playing just over an hour of the Republic of Ireland’s 4-0 away victory over Greece.

Clark completed the full 90 minutes of Scotland’s 4-0 home defeat by Germany, with Sam Kerr an unused substitute at Tannadice Park.

Höbinger was substituted late on in Austria’s 3-1 loss to the Netherlands and, finally, Roman Haug came off the bench in the second half of Norway’s goalless draw with Iceland.
