LFC WomenFans Supporting Foodbanks truck to return for Arsenal FA Cup tie
The Fans Supporting Foodbanks truck will be making a return to Prenton Park on Sunday for Liverpool FC Women’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup tie against Arsenal.
The van made its debut with the women’s team in the previous round against Lincoln City, where a fantastic effort from supporters, players, staff and team officials saw 21 crates of food donated to help tackle food poverty on Merseyside.
With a 12pm GMT kick-off on Sunday, the team of volunteers will be accepting donations from 10.30am in the car park side of the ground, next to the family fun park.
Tickets for the match are on sale now at liverpoolfc.com/women-tickets, priced from £4.
Fans can bring their donations to support those in need in our community, with donations of the following items particularly welcome:
- Long-life fruit juices
- Coffee jars
- Sugar
- Cereal
- Long-life milk
- Tinned fruits
- Cooking sauces (pasta/curry)
- Tinned potatoes
- Tinned meats
- Tea
- Tinned soups
