NewsFabio Carvalho completes permanent switch to Brentford
Fabio Carvalho has completed a permanent transfer to Brentford.
The attacker finalised his switch to the Bees today, bringing an end to his two-year spell as a Liverpool player.
Carvalho joined the Reds in July 2022 from Fulham and would go on to score three times in his 21 competitive appearances.
The 21-year-old made his debut for the club by appearing as a substitute in the 2022 FA Community Shield victory over Manchester City.
He opened his goalscoring account the following month in the 9-0 defeat of AFC Bournemouth at Anfield and then netted a 98th-minute winner against Newcastle United four days later.
Carvalho spent time out on loan at RB Leipzig and Hull City in 2023-24, before returning to Liverpool this summer to feature regularly in pre-season.
He will now embark on a new chapter in his career with Thomas Frank's Brentford, who begin their Premier League campaign on Sunday versus Crystal Palace.
Everyone at LFC would like to wish Fabio the very best of luck for the future.
