InternationalsElliott and Van Dijk feature as Doak scores on debut
Virgil van Dijk and Harvey Elliott both featured in international action for their respective countries on Thursday evening.
Van Dijk helped the Netherlands to a 2-0 UEFA Nations League A victory over Poland in Group 4, aiding a clean sheet in the win in Warsaw.
Elliott, meanwhile, was a second-half substitute for England U21s - clocking up 19 minutes - as the Young Lions defeated Italy 2-0 in a friendly at Stadio Adriatico.
Ben Doak was also involved in friendly action for Scotland, stepping off the bench to score on his debut at U21s level for the Tartan Army in a 3-1 victory over Northern Ireland in Belfast.
