NewsBobby Clark completes permanent transfer to Red Bull Salzburg
Bobby Clark has joined Red Bull Salzburg on a permanent transfer, subject to international clearance.
The 19-year-old leaves Anfield after three years at the club having finalised a switch to the Austrian Bundesliga side.
Clark initially arrived from Newcastle United in August 2021 and made his senior debut for the Reds a year later, coming on as a substitute in a 9-0 home win over AFC Bournemouth.
In total, he appeared on 14 occasions for Liverpool, including when he came off the bench in the Carabao Cup final triumph over Chelsea at Wembley in February. The midfielder also netted in a Europa League tie against Sparta Prague at Anfield last term.
He now departs Merseyside for Salzburg, where he will once again link up with former Reds assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders.
In a post on social media, Clark said: “After an incredible three years at Liverpool FC, I’ve decided it’s time for a new challenge. I’ve learned so much during my time at the club and [I] am very thankful for the opportunities and experiences I’ve had. Thank you to all the fans who supported me on this journey.”
Everyone at LFC wishes Bobby all the best for his future.
