Guide2023-24 Premier League: Fixtures release, key dates and transfer window
With Liverpool set to discover their Premier League fixture list for 2023-24 this week, read our guide to the key details about the new season.
Fixtures release
The Reds’ league schedule for the next campaign will be announced at 9am BST on Thursday June 15.
A full list of fixtures will be available here on Liverpoolfc.com.
With major work on the expansion of the Anfield Road Stand set to continue until the end of July, the club has lodged a request for the first match to be played away from home.
Fixtures will be subject to change for television broadcast and European competition purposes, with updates to follow on Liverpoolfc.com.
Key dates
The 2023-24 Premier League campaign is set to begin on Saturday August 12.
The final round of fixtures will be played simultaneously on Sunday May 19, 2024.
A mid-season break will return to the schedule next term, between January 13 and January 20.
Transfer window
The summer transfer window for Premier League clubs will officially open on Wednesday June 14.
The window will then close at 11pm BST on Friday September 1.
Promoted teams
Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town will be the new entrants into the division for 2023-24, replacing Leeds United, Leicester City and Southampton.
The Clarets and the Blades clinched automatic promotion and return to the Premier League after absences of one and two seasons respectively.
Luton, meanwhile, are back in England’s top flight for the first time since 1992 having emerged victorious from the Championship play-offs.
