LFC International Academy staff visited Chicago earlier this month to meet with International Academy representatives from across North America.

The team hosted a day-long session, delivering key updates from LFC across both the business and coaching sides, giving academy staff the insight required to continue to thrive in 2025.

With representatives from nine International Academy (IA) locations present, the updates were aimed at bringing IAs up-to-speed with everything new at LFC as well as planning for 2025/26.

During the morning session, some important topics were covered focussing on the business aspects of academy operations, including content and discussions covering brand, marketing and administration.

After lunch, the focus turned to on the pitch, as LFC IA Coaching Manager, Steven Gillespie, led a coach education session alongside Senior Coaching Manager, Andrew Nicholas. The workshop delivered insights on the LFC IA Coaching Curriculum for 2025/26 season and allowed coaches to pull their boots on and take part in a session.

All-in-all, the event was a real success and attendees left with plenty of updates to work with and some fresh ideas heading into 2025.
