FoundationNo Room For Racism patches now available
LFC fans now have the option to add the No Room for Racism patch to their replica shirt for the first time.
The Club have now made the patches available as a customisation option both in store and online for the 2023-24 season to complete the look of your shirt.
Fans can add the patch to their shirt for £5, with £1 from every sale of the patch going to LFC Foundation to support the work they’re doing with refugees across the city region.
The LFC Foundation and Red Together Refugee programme works with various organisations and offers opportunities to refugees and asylum seekers who reside in Liverpool and the surrounding areas, to regularly play football in a welcoming and inclusive session. Participants have also had opportunities to represent LFC Foundation at tournaments and events within Liverpool and across the North West.
Speaking of the importance of the programme, Matt Parish, chief executive, LFC Foundation, said: “It’s fantastic that a percentage of the sales from the No Room for Racism patches will go towards supporting this programme, through the support of LFC and partners, the programme has so far been able to support more than 500 refugees and asylum seekers.
“The programme is about offering an inclusive place to play football, an opportunity to socialise with others and to be a part of the LFC Foundation and community.”
The club is committed to making LFC welcoming to all through its Red Together programme, which strives to ensure that equality, diversity, and inclusion is embedded into everything it does as well as driving forward positive change.
