Online registrations for the first ever Run To Anfield 5K event will close at 5pm on Thursday September 5, so don’t miss out and sign up now.

The five kilometre fun run will take place on September 8 2024, and features a scenic circuit around Stanley Park, with an unforgettable grand finish inside Anfield Stadium by the Kop, where runners will be able to get their souvenir photo and their medal.

To register for the event, just click here and be part of what is sure to be a memorable morning at Anfield. Those who sign up will receive a race T-shirt ahead of the event and then receive a commemorative medal after completing the race, providing a lasting reminder of your participation and support.

LFC legend John Barnes will be on hand to get the run underway at 9.30am, when you can join the likes of LFCW ambassador Natasha Dowie, former LFC goalkeeper Chris Kirkland and Liverpool singer-songwriter Jamie Webster, in taking part and supporting the LFC Foundation.

There will also be entertainment both before and after the run in Paisley Square for all of the runners, including live music and refreshments.

Whether you decide to run, walk or jog, you'll not only experience the thrill of ending the event inside one of football's most historic stadiums but you will also be contributing to raising vital funds for LFC Foundation’s Health and Wellbeing Programmes, which support people of all ages.

Just some of those programmes include encouraging young people to remain active and healthy through the MOVE programme and supporting local Military Veterans. LFC Foundation have also built unique programmes such as Red Hot Beats and Sound Minds that combine the two famous pillars of Liverpool's history, music and football to teach coping strategies to children across Liverpool City Region.

Participants are encouraged to achieve a fundraising target of £150 for the LFC Foundation via the Run to Anfield Just Giving campaign. All participants should sign up to the Just Giving ‘Run to Anfield’ event page. Full instruction on how to set up your Run to Anfied Just Giving page will be sent to you by the LFC Foundation following your successful registration.
