Matt Beard, Manager - Liverpool FC
Matt Beard
Manager
Matt Beard was appointed Liverpool FC Women manager for the second time in May 2021.
He returned to the club almost six years after his first spell ended, which saw the Reds clinch back-to-back Women's Super League titles under his leadership in 2013 and 2014.
In the interim, he worked with Boston Breakers in the USA, West Ham United Women and, most recently, Bristol City Women.
Beard delivered the club's objective of a return to the Women's Super League at the first opportunity in 2021-22 – and in hugely impressive fashion.
After an opening-day defeat, the Reds embarked on a 20-game unbeaten run in the Women's Championship that included 16 victories and led them to win the title by 11 points. Beard was named the LMA's Manager of the Year in the division.</p...
