Return of supporters to Prenton Park

Ticket details confirmed for Liverpool Women’s FC supporters

Liverpool Women’s FC can confirm we will welcome supporters back to the ground for our Women’s Championship game on Sunday against Crystal Palace Women.

The match will kick off at Prenton Park at 2pm and we are looking forward to seeing fans there after such a long absence.

Wirral and the rest of the Liverpool City Region has been placed into Tier 2 in the current health restrictions for the Covid-19 pandemic in order to protect public health and safety.

This means a limited number of supporters can attend matches at Prenton Park in a suitably safe and protected way.

For Sunday’s fixture, 900 tickets will be available with all seats situated in the Kop end of the ground. Only supporters living in the Liverpool City Region (Merseyside plus Halton) are allowed to buy tickets to comply with current travel restrictions.

Tickets are also available for those with disabilities or accessibility requirements.

Tickets will go on sale at noon on Friday at https://tickets.tygit.com/u/r/l/Liverpool-FC-Womens priced £5 for adults, £2.50 for children under 16, £2.50 for concessions.

Supporters can buy tickets for anyone in their support bubble. Where feasible seats may be grouped in for supporters in bubbles but they could be adjacent to each other and individually-spaced to minimise the risk to public health and fellow supporters. Supporters will always be seated at a suitable distance from others who are not in your social bubble.

All tickets must be purchased in advance – there is NO SALE ON THE GATE - and supporters will be required to complete a health screening  questionnaire to make sure they comply with the most recent Government guidelines to keep everybody present safe.

If a health screening is completed more than 24 hours before kick-off you may have to reaffirm it before entering the ground.

Before buying tickets, fans must also refer to a new Supporter Code of Conduct for Prenton Park.

Tickets will be sent electronically and checked on smart mobile phone at the ground on Sunday to minimise physical contact.

Temperature checks will also be in place before fans enter the ground and masks must be worn by everyone aged 11 and over in the stadium unless they are exempt.

Hand sanitisers will be available outside and inside the ground and fans are encouraged to make use of them.

The club has been working closely with its partners at Tranmere Rovers and the Football Association to create a robust plan which is in line with Government guidance and prioritises the safety of the local community, supporters, staff, players and emergency services.

In support of the Liverpool City Region mass-testing programme, all fans who are attending the match are encouraged to have a COVID-19 test either on the day of the game - or the day before. Information on testing sites can be found at https://liverpool.gov.uk/masstesting. This is not a mandatory condition of entry.

These are clearly unprecedented times and the health, safety, security of everyone attending the game is our number one priority. We are committed to ensuring that the stadium is a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

We need your support to keep you, your fellow supporters, club colleagues, and the local community safe. By working together, we can make a positive difference in preventing the spread of Coronavirus.

Given the fast-moving news fans should continue to refer to this dedicated website hub which will provide full guidance for the game and update all information.
