MatchWSL: Nine stats to know ahead of Bristol City v Liverpool

The teams are meeting for a third time this season. After a 1-1 league draw at Prenton Park in December, the Reds were 1-0 winners at Ashton Gate in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup in January.
Liverpool have scored in each of their last 14 WSL fixtures with Bristol City (30 goals), winning nine of those matches (three draws, two losses).
Bristol City have fielded the youngest average starting XI in the WSL this season (24 years, 136 days), while Liverpool rank fourth in that regard (26 years, 314 days).
The Robins’ squad includes former Reds players Rachel Furness, Satara Murray, Amy Rodgers and Amalie Thestrup.

Reds boss Matt Beard took charge of 12 games for Bristol City during the 2020-21 WSL campaign. He is unbeaten across his last three matches against them in the competition (won two, drawn one).
Against no side has Gemma Bonner scored more WSL goals than Bristol City (three, level with Everton).
Bonner’s first ever goal for Liverpool in the competition came against the Robins back in August 2013.
