They will also be aiming to halt a run that has seen Arsenal win all 10 of their away games against the Reds in the Women’s Super League.
Beard’s side have won eight of their last 12 home Women’s Super League fixtures (one draw, three defeats).
There has been an average of 3.48 goals scored per game in the previous 21 WSL meetings between the teams.
Shanice van de Sanden has scored twice in two previous appearances for Liverpool versus Arsenal.
Taylor Hinds has netted each of the Reds’ last two goals in the Women’s Super League.
Liverpool have contested the third-highest number of duels in the WSL so far this term (1,074) and the Gunners the second-most (1,080).
Ahead of this round of matches, Arsenal had forced the most high turnovers in the WSL this season (194), with 30 of those resulting in a shot at goal, behind only Manchester City (38) in the competition.
The Gunners were beaten 1-0 at Tottenham Hotspur in their last league away game. They last lost consecutive WSL away matches in December 2020.
More than half of Arsenal’s WSL goals so far in 2023-24 have been scored in the opening 15 minutes or final 15 minutes (14 of 26).
