VideoWatch: New LFC Retail advert is a love letter to Anfield
Shot on location at Anfield, the campaign video is a love letter to the home of Liverpool FC, told through song lyrics written by local band and lifelong supporters The Cheap Thrills.
Their new track Home (I Want You Forever) is the soundtrack to the video.
With the band performing the track live at Anfield, under the darkness of night, the video is shot using a dynamic canvas of light and features Reds legends Natasha Dowie and John Barnes alongside passionate fans from all walks of life who each call this special stadium home.
As they enjoy the performance, footage of iconic Anfield match highlights are projected around the stadium.
“It was magical to film a music video at Anfield at night,” said The Cheap Thrills. “We are all Liverpool FC fans and two of us are season ticket holders. A bucket list moment for us all.”
The new campaign showcases the range of official LFC merchandise, from retro jerseys to the current LFC x Nike lifestyle collection – perfect for gifting and celebrating the spirit of the club.
The advert will air across the club’s digital platforms and social media.
