The Uruguayan came off the bench to secure a 2-1 victory for Liverpool in Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup tie on the south coast.

Cutting in from the left channel, Nunez lashed a dipping strike over the goalkeeper and underneath the crossbar to send the Reds into the quarter-finals.
