ReactionWataru Endo on LASK win, a 'hard month' ahead and Liverpool's attacking strength
Two goals from Cody Gakpo, together with strikes from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah, secured top spot in Group E for Jürgen Klopp's side, who in the process recorded their 10th successive home victory in all competitions.
With nine games to come across the next month, it promises to be a busy period for the Reds squad, but one Endo says he is excited for.
"It's a very hard month!" the Japan international told Liverpoolfc.com. "But we play all together and I will always try to do my best on the pitch and try to be ready whether I am starting or on the bench."
Endo was one of nine players brought in to the starting line-up against LASK, as Klopp opted to rotate his squad.
"It was an important win," he said. "I think from the beginning we played well, we started strong and we had the chances to go 3-0 or 4-0 before the second half.
"But in the end we won, so I'm glad."
He added: "We are through the group, which is a very important thing. But we still have one game [against Union SG], and we will try to get ready for that."
Endo also reflected on the firepower Liverpool have at their disposal, with Salah moving up to 199 Reds goals and both Diaz and Gakpo on the scoresheet.
"I'm so happy to be a part of this club and so happy to play with such amazing players," the No.3 added.
"That's Liverpool and how we want to play. Obviously we had so many chances, but defensively as well, after we lost the ball we always tried to be organised and get back, and that's a very important thing as well."
