Morton, who is spending the 2023-24 campaign with Hull City, scored twice in four Championship appearances during the month.
Overall, the 21-year-old has played 15 times to date and also provided two assists for the Tigers, who sit seventh in the table.
“It’s a very proud moment for myself,” said Morton. “When I got the call, I was buzzing. I didn’t expect it, to be honest.
“I’ve worked hard this last month and I feel like my confidence has shone through. There are so many young players in the Championship so I feel very proud. I’m driving for more and I feel like I’ve got that in me.”
Morton has made nine senior appearances for Liverpool having progressed through the Academy ranks and signed a new long-term contract in January this year.
