TransferTyler Morton joins Blackburn Rovers on loan
Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton has joined Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan deal.
The Academy graduate enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the Reds’ first team last term, making nine appearances for Jürgen Klopp’s side, including starts against FC Porto, AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur.
Morton, a regular in Premier League 2 and the UEFA Youth League in 2021-22, will now seek to gain further senior experience under the management of Jon Dahl Tomasson at Ewood Park.
Blackburn compete in the Championship and began the new season with a 1-0 home win over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
