InternationalsTrent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita withdrawn from duty
Trent Alexander-Arnold has withdrawn from the England squad due to his hamstring injury.
The right-back’s fitness issue was revealed by Jürgen Klopp ahead of Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup tie at Nottingham Forest, which he was ruled out for.
The Football Association has now confirmed Alexander-Arnold will not be involved in the Three Lions’ friendlies against Switzerland and Ivory Coast during this international period.
Elsewhere, the Guinean Football Federation has reported today that Naby Keita is set to miss their forthcoming fixtures due to a knee complaint.
