Matt Beard's squad are building up to the new Barclays Women's Super League campaign and their pre-season preparations continued at their West Derby base.

The Reds – who host Manchester City in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Saturday – were put through their paces and our photographer was there to capture the workout.
