Liverpool FC Women fans are reminded they have until 12pm BST on Sunday to buy tickets for the season-opener against Chelsea FC Women.

The Reds make their return to the Barclays Women’s Super League in a mouth-watering clash with last year’s champions.

Tickets for Sunday’s 5pm kick-off at Prenton Park must be purchased in advance and will not be available on the gate.

A superb encounter is in prospect as Matt Beard’s team make their top-flight comeback having lifted the FA Women’s Championship in emphatic fashion last term.

LFC Women come into the contest with Chelsea on the back of a positive pre-season schedule that included 16 goals in their six warm-up fixtures.

Tickets also remain on sale for the exciting return to Anfield for the Reds as they take on Everton in the Merseyside derby on Sunday September 25, with children’s tickets just £1.
