Jürgen Klopp’s men have already scored 64 goals in the league this season, which is their highest tally after 25 games since the 1904-05 campaign.
Against Norwich City last weekend, Luis Diaz became the 16th different Reds player to score in the league during this campaign. The club record is 17, set in 1911-12 and twice under Klopp (in 2015-16 and 2019-20).
Liverpool have won their last eight matches in all competitions and are aiming to record a ninth victory in a row for the first time since January 2020.
They have not conceded a first-half goal in any of their last nine fixtures, since Shrewsbury Town scored at Anfield in the Emirates FA Cup last month.
James Milner played 54 games and scored five goals for Leeds from 2002 to 2004. Last season he appeared at Elland Road for the first time as a visiting player, when he captained the Reds.
Liverpool have scored more Premier League goals from the 76th minute onwards (14) than any other team in the division this season, while conceding the fewest number (two).
Leeds have won two of their previous 12 away top-flight games this season, beating Norwich 2-1 and West Ham United 3-2.
Their last victory at Anfield was a 2-1 success in April 2001; Rio Ferdinand and Lee Bowyer scored the Leeds goals, while Steven Gerrard netted for the Reds and was then sent off.
