ClubSupporters offered free travel to Aston Villa on Boxing Day
To reserve travel to and from Villa Park, fans are required to donate £5 per seat in support of the club’s ‘LFC Operation Christmas Magic’ campaign, which is raising vital funds for the North Liverpool Foodbank.
Liverpool FC is committed to supporting its local communities this Christmas as the cost-of-living crisis continues.
Operation Christmas Magic is the club’s way of supporting its neighbours, fans and local communities during this festive period. Through a range of Christmas-themed activities, the club aims to make a difference in areas of need during this festive period and beyond.
This season, LFC Retail is donating 1,000 toys/gifts to Cash for Kids’ ‘Mission Christmas’ campaign. In addition, the club is donating 1,500 Christmas food hampers, which will be distributed throughout the Liverpool City Region during the festive period.
LFC will also bring its communities together this Christmas by hosting a range of free events, including its annual Christmas carol service and Red Neighbours’ community lunches for local residents at Anfield, and a community Winter Wonderland family event in Norris Green.
Fans can donate directly to the North Liverpool Foodbank by simply texting FOODBANKFC to 70460 to donate £5 or by visiting www.standrewslive.org.uk/donate.
Coach collection and drop-off for the journey to Villa Park is on Arkles Lane, Liverpool. Pick-up time and additional details to follow.
