FeatureSmoothie tutorials and the 'impossible' made possible - five things we spotted from training
The Reds continued their preparations for this weekend's Premier League opener away at Ipswich Town.
Watch their work towards the match in the latest instalment of Inside Training and read on for some of our observations from the session 48 hours before the big kick-off…
Mo Salah, smoothie aficionado
Mohamed Salah is talented in lots of things, and you can add making smoothies to that long list.
Ahead of the day's work, our cameras caught the Egyptian in the canteen teaching Dominik Szoboszlai how to make a delicious and nutritious beverage.
Share the full recipe please, Mo.
The coffee bar
The recently installed coffee bar at the AXA Training Centre is going down a hit amongst the squad.
Wataru Endo, Virgil van Dijk and Salah were among those to pay a visit to it on Thursday.
The boss experiences summer in England
"You leave the house with sun, and then this," says Arne Slot while walking out to training and putting on his rain jacket.
There will certainly be more of that to come in the future.
Thankfully, the forecast looks good for Saturday in Ipswich – but we'll see if that holds up...
A unique warm-up
Liverpool got in the mood for the session by catching medicine balls as part of their warm-up (see from 9.33 in Inside Training).
After skipping over two small hurdles, the players would be thrown the weighted object by a member of the coaching staff and have to secure it while on the run.
It looked rather fun.
Trent achieves the 'impossible'
From 15.39 in Inside Training, Slot and Trent Alexander-Arnold can be seen wrapping up the workout by trying to bend the ball into the net from behind the goalline.
Alexander-Arnold increases the difficulty by going back further, leading to the head coach declaring the task 'impossible'.
The No.66 fails with his first attempt but nails the second perfectly.
"That's what we taught him!" shouts Academy director Alex Inglethorpe.
