NewsSepp van den Berg injury update
On-loan Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg is set for a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a ligament injury while representing Schalke 04 on Sunday.
The centre-back was forced off early in the second half of the Bundesliga club’s 3-2 defeat against Augsburg.
Van den Berg – who was making his fourth start since joining on loan for the season – is expected to be ruled out for the remainder of 2022, reported Schalke today.
Everybody at Liverpool FC wishes Sepp a speedy recovery from the injury.
