WatchSalah, Alisson and Robertson star in newest episode of 'The Reds Roundtable' series with Standard Chartered
Set amongst the backdrop of the historic Olympia in Liverpool, presenter Kelly Cates leads the trio of Reds in an intimate chat as they reveal incredible insights from their time inside the game.
After watching a clip of his penalty during the 2019 Champions League final, Salah reveals he changed his mind about where he was going to put the ball and still feels bad about it now, even though he scored.
He said: "I practised the whole week on the other side. Then I just took the run and when I hit the ball, I just changed my mind and I felt bad. I felt really bad after that, even until now. Every time I see it, I say, 'Why did I change my mind?'
"Because sometimes when you take a decision and you practise very well, and you miss, you don't feel bad about it. I did my everything and had bad luck. But when you change your mind in the Champions League final, it was too much pressure, to be fair, but I just managed to stay calm and say, 'Just shoot the ball inside the net and that's it.'"
Throughout the rest of this must-see video, the three players discuss playing under a new head coach and coaching staff, what inspiration they take from each other, the responsibility they have to their teammates as senior players and more. You can watch the full episode above.
The Reds Roundtable series by Standard Chartered concentrates on the themes of championing potential, resilience, ambition and building a legacy, and will provide incredible insights from inside the game.
