Former Liverpool midfielder Steve McMahon, who played for Everton that day, also appears alongside BBC Radio Merseyside commentator Charlie Lambert and supporter Stevie Metcalf, who watched on from the stands.
Reigning champions Liverpool were led for the last time in a Goodison derby by Bob Paisley and master marksman Rush’s display that afternoon is etched indelibly into LFC folklore.
Indeed, ‘Rush scored four’ is still proudly and regularly sung by Reds supporters to this day.
With a total of 346 goals to his name, Rush remains Liverpool’s record goalscorer and no other Reds player has surpassed the 25 goals he netted against Everton.
