Jota opens up about what it’s like to play with his childhood idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he watched compete at Euro 2004 as a young fan. “It’s special because all these years watching him, being able to share the pitch and combine to score goals is something not even in my dreams,” Jota shares.

Now in his second season with the club, Mac Allister reflects on his transition with the Reds and finding a family at Liverpool. “I can see a team,” he says. “To be a good human being is so important and in this club everyone is a really good human being, and that makes things easier. From day one I felt like I was at home.”

Known for his commanding defensive presence, Konate surprises his teammates with a revelation about his early football days: “When I was young, I was a striker.” To which Mac Allister responds: “No-one knew that!”

Presented by principal partner Standard Chartered, The Reds Roundtable champions resilience, ambition and legacy, offering fans rare insights from inside the game.
