NewsReds' Premier League opponents confirmed ahead of fixture release
Nottingham Forest became the third and final team to complete the top-flight line-up on Sunday after clinching promotion in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.
It is the first time Forest will compete in the Premier League for 23 years, though the Reds faced Steve Cooper’s side in Emirates FA Cup action at the City Ground in March.
Fulham – with the help of Liverpool loanee Neco Williams – had already secured their place after winning the Championship title, with AFC Bournemouth, aided by Nathaniel Phillips, claiming the second automatic promotion position.
The Cottagers earned an instant return to the Premier League after relegation last year, while the Cherries last competed in the division in the 2019-20 season.
Norwich City, Watford and Burnley were the trio of teams to suffer the drop this term.
Fixtures for the new league season will be released on June 16 at 9am BST.
