David Johnson's role in one of Liverpool's most successful periods cannot be overstated.
During a trophy-laden career at Anfield between 1976 and 1982, the striker scored 78 goals in 213 appearances for the Reds.
His arrival for a club-record fee under Bob Paisley from Ipswich Town - having started his career at Everton - proved to be money well spent such was his impact.
Affectionately nicknamed 'Doc', the boyhood Kopite was a key figure in a period of on-pitch domination as Liverpool thrust themselves to the forefront of domestic and European football, helping the club lift four league titles, three European Cups, two League Cups and a UEFA Super Cup.
